Read this passage very carefully and answer all the questions.

Long before the present civilization, the area currently known as Nigeria existed in her constituent units. These units were purely tribal and close-knitted groups which had their own languages and cultures uniquely different from other groups at the turn of the twentieth century. There are about two hundred tribes that cover the entire landscape.

These groups largely co-exist in peace and sometimes engage in frictional interactions or wars. The large groups among them are the Hausas, Igbos and the Yorubas, but we cannot neglect the comparatively smaller Edo people, who caused the European invaders headaches at their attempt to rape our land. Those British intruders will never forget their defeat. The great King Jaja put up a good resistance that eventually caused his expulsion from his native Opobo by the ruthless British overload.

PASSAGE II

Animals are beautiful creatures. The Maker made them to pleasure us with their wonder and so that they can serve as food and to provide clothing. Man has dominated all of creation such that there is no inch of visible created land and its inhabitant that he has not conquered.

Animals such as horses and mules are used for transport; dogs are used for hunting while monkeys are used for entertainment. More so, animals are classified into domestic and wild. All the animals already mentioned can be said to be domestic. The scary and violent animals such as tiger, lion, hyena and many others are classified as wild animals. These creatures, though wild, are sometimes domesticated, that is, they are tamed and trained. Those in the circus display these animals for show and entertainment but accidents have happened where the animals have turned against their handlers or the helpless onlookers.
