How to Apply for FUTIA Post UTME 2026/2027 — Step by Step
Follow these steps exactly. Use only the official FUTIA portal. FUTIA does not authorise any individual agents for admission — anyone asking for money outside the official portal is a fraudster.
Step 1: Visit the Official Portal
Go to portal.futia.edu.ng and click “Click here to apply”.
Step 2: Select Undergraduate
Click on “Undergraduate” from the options displayed.
Step 3: Enter Your JAMB Registration Number
Type your JAMB Registration Number in the field provided and click “Get Details”. Your name and basic information will be auto-populated from the JAMB database.
Step 4: Enter Contact Information
Fill in your valid phone number and active email address, then click “Next”. Use a personal phone number and email — all FUTIA communication regarding the screening exercise will come through these contacts.
Step 5: Make Payment
On the payment review page, click “Make Payment”. You will be directed to the payment gateway. Enter your ATM card details (MasterCard, Visa, or Verve) and complete the OTP verification sent to your phone. Keep your payment receipt after a successful transaction.
If you are unsure whether payment went through, do not pay again immediately. Check for a bank debit alert first, then return to the portal to confirm.
Step 6: Log In and Complete the Form
After payment, return to the portal and click “Main Login”. Log in using your JAMB Registration Number as your username and your surname as your password. Fill out the application form completely and accurately.
Step 7: Submit and Print
Review all entries carefully before clicking “Submit”. After successful submission, print both your payment receipt and your registration slip. Keep copies of both — you will need them for the screening exercise and for any queries later.
Direct Entry Candidates — Additional Step
DE candidates follow the same registration steps above. When filling the form, select your highest academic qualification from the drop-down menu and provide all relevant details. If you are upgrading from UTME to Direct Entry, complete the upgrade on JAMB CAPS first, then proceed with FUTIA portal registration.
Important Rules and Warnings
FUTIA has issued the following specific warnings with this announcement:
- Candidates who do not register will not be considered for admission, regardless of JAMB score.
- Awaiting-result candidates may apply but must upload O’Level results on JAMB CAPS at a JAMB-approved CBT centre by 31 August 2026.

- No agents: FUTIA does not operate through individual or sales agents. Any payment made to a private individual for admission is at the payer’s own risk.
