Nature of the Screening Exercise
The 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening at ESUI runs in two modes depending on the programme:
Physical (on-campus) screening applies to candidates applying for Medicine and Surgery, Nursing, and Law. These candidates must attend a Post-UTME screening test on campus. Dates and venues will be communicated by the university after registration. Screening combines the Post-UTME test score, JAMB score, and O’Level results on JAMB CAPS.
Online screening applies to all other UTME programmes. Candidates are assessed purely on their verified JAMB scores and O’Level results uploaded to JAMB CAPS — no physical attendance required.
Direct Entry candidates are screened online for most programmes. DE candidates applying for Medicine and Surgery, Nursing, or Law must also sit a Post-DE Screening Test on campus.
