Topic  FURTHER SPREAD OF THE CHURCH PAUL AT PHILIPPI.
Learning Objectives  At the end of the lesson, students should be able to; 

  1. Outline the places that Paul visited in the second missionary journey.
  2. Explain the mystery of Paul and Silas’ experience in the prison
Key Vocabulary Words  Missionary journey.
Previous Knowledge  The students have learnt about the first missionary of Paul. 
Content 
  1. Paul’s second missionary journey.
  2. Paul and Silas’ experience in the prison
Strategies/ Activities  Step 1: The teacher gives a summary of the previous lesson and asks a student to read the Bible passage.

Step 2: The teacher introduces the class by playing the introductory part of the video of Paul’s journey.

Step 3: The students and teacher interact on why Paul travelled to many cities.

Step 3: The teacher explains the content of the note in detail. 

Step 4: Students were allowed to ask questions and proper feedback was given.

Step 5: Students were guided by the teacher while carrying out their class work marks and feedback was given immediately.

Step 6: The teacher summarises and gives assignments to the students.

 

Classwork
  • List five cities Paul visited during his Second missionary journey.
Conclusion  The Teacher summarises the class by randomly selecting the students and using an open-ended questioning style on them. 
Assignment  Students should copy their notes

Step 3: The students and teacher interact on the event that happened in the prison.
