The Federal Polytechnic Ado-Ekiti invites qualified candidates to apply for HND Morning (Full-time, 4 semesters) and HND Evening/Part-Time (6 semesters) programmes in various schools such as:

Entry Requirements for Fed Poly Ado HND 2025/2026

To be eligible, applicants must have the following:

National Diploma (ND) from a recognized institution, with at least a Lower Credit in the relevant course.

Five (5) O’Level Credits, including Mathematics and English Language, in not more than two sittings. Acceptable results include WAEC, NECO, GCE, and NABTEB.

For applicants with NABTEB (NTC) applying to the School of Engineering, there must be a core subject from the Trade Related Area (TRA). Subjects like Bookkeeping, Commerce, and Secretariat Studies are not acceptable.

For NABTEB (NBC) holders, the business certificates are only acceptable in Business-related courses.

If you’re applying to Agriculture, Science, or Environmental Studies, NABTEB Technical Certificate (NTC) and General Education Certificate (NGC) are acceptable depending on the course.

You must upload your ND Result and Industrial Training (IT) letter before applying.

Candidates with a Lower Credit need at least nine (9) months of IT experience. If you finished with a Pass, you must have 18 months of relevant IT experience.
How to Apply for Fed Poly Ado HND Admission 2025/2026
You’ll complete your application in a few clear steps:
Step 1: Visit the Application Portal
Head over to the Polytechnic’s student portal: http://www.students.fedpolyado.edu.ng

Click on “Application” and generate an invoice.

Choose HND Morning, HND Evening, or HND Part-Time, depending on your preference.

Select your preferred course from the dropdown list.
Step 2: Make Payment
You have two payment options:

Via Bank: Print the invoice and pay ₦15,500 at any commercial bank via Remita.

Online Payment: Use your ATM card (MasterCard, Visa, or Verve) to make payment directly on the portal. Make sure to print the invoice before payment.
Step 3: Fill and Submit the Form

After payment, return to the portal.

Fill the application form using your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).

Upload your ND result and IT letter.

Transcript Submission (Very Important)
If you did your ND elsewhere (not at Fed Poly Ado), ensure that your transcript is sent directly to:
The Registrar,
The Federal Polytechnic,

Deadline for transcript arrival is 31st August, 2025. Any transcript submitted by hand or received late will render your application invalid.
Also, ND Statement of Results dated before February 2015 or after February 2024 (depending on your grade) will not be accepted. Cross-check this before applying.
