The Delta State School of Marine Technology, Burutu is now accepting applications from qualified candidates for admission into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
All candidates applying for ND must have sat for the 2025 JAMB UTME.
Application Procedure
Follow the steps below to complete your application successfully:
- Visit the official website: www.dsmt.edu.ng
- Click “Apply Now” then select “Application Form”
- Fill the form and proceed to pay a non-refundable application fee:
- ND: ₦20,000
- HND: ₦25,000
- Payments must be made through the official school portal only. Do not use third-party links.
- Use your email address and password used during payment to access your portal.
- Choose the right department. To find out which department offers your course, visit the Admission Requirement page on the portal. Review the course listings and pick the correct department for your programme.
- After payment, log in with your portal credentials to update your profile and complete the Registration Form.
- Go to the PrintOut section to download your Admission Form Receipt.
- Print two (2) copies of the Admission Form Receipt to complete your registration.
Important Dates
- Application Deadline: Monday, 30th June 2025
- Aptitude Test (for ND applicants only): Date will be announced on the school website and sent to registered applicants.

Tests will be held at the following approved centres:
- Delta State School of Marine Technology, Burutu Main Campus
- College of Education, Warri
- Kwale Campus (Utagba-Ogbe Technical College, Kwale)
- Gbaregolor Campus
