About the Nigerian Air Force College of Nursing Sciences (NAFCONS)
The Nigerian Air Force College of Nursing Sciences (NAFCONS) was formally established under Establishment Order 3/2016 as part of the Nigerian Air Force School of Medical Sciences and Aviation Medicine (NAFSMSAM) in Kaduna.
The creation of NAFCONS became necessary due to the rapid expansion of existing Nigerian Air Force units and the establishment of new Commands across the country. This growth created an urgent need for more qualified nurses and healthcare personnel to serve both in military medical facilities and beyond.
Commissioned on 26 October 2019 by the then Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal S.B. Abubakar, NAFCONS was designed to address these manpower gaps by producing highly trained, professional nurses.
The college is fully accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) and the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), allowing it to provide both professional and academic nursing training. Academic activities officially began for the pioneer set of students in October 2019.

Scoring below this mark automatically makes you ineligible for the year’s admission process.
If your score meets or exceeds this mark, you can proceed to apply for the Post UTME screening. This cut-off mark is competitive because NAFCONS has limited admission slots, and many students apply each year.
