FUAZ Post-UTME 2025/2026

If you’re one of the many Nigerian students searching for trusted school news and reliable updates on Nigeria university admission, this one is for you. The Federal University of Agriculture, Zuru (FUAZ) has officially opened its Post-UTME registration for the 2025/2026 academic session and we’re here to break it down for you in a way that makes sense, especially if you’ve been feeling overwhelmed by the entire admission process.

At EduJet, we understand the pressure. The late nights scrolling through different school portals, the conflicting information on social media, the fear of missing out on important deadlines, it can feel like a lot. But don’t worry. We’ve simplified everything about the FUAZ 2025 Post-UTME, from eligibility to cut-off marks and application steps. Let’s get into it.

About FUAZ: Why Consider This University?

Located in the heart of Kebbi State, FUAZ is one of Nigeria’s growing federal universities with a core focus on agriculture and sciences. It offers forward-looking, industry-relevant degree programmes designed to prepare students for real-world solutions especially in agriculture, technology, and veterinary sciences.

For many students across Nigeria, especially those who want to stand out in less saturated fields like veterinary medicine or fisheries, FUAZ presents an exciting opportunity. And if you’ve got dreams of building a career in tech, their Computer Science programme (cut-off: 170) is gaining attention.

FUAZ 2025/2026 Available Degree Programmes and Cut-off Marks

Here are the approved degree programmes for the 2025/2026 admission cycle and their respective cut-off marks:

  • B. Agric. Animal Science – 150

  • B. Agric. Crop Science – 150

  • B. Agric. Economics/Extension Services – 150

  • B. Fisheries and Aquaculture – 150

  • B.Sc. Biology – 150

  • B.Sc. Chemistry – 150

  • B.Sc. Mathematics – 150

  • B.Sc. Physics – 150

  • B.Sc. Computer Science – 170

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) – 190

If your UTME score meets or surpasses the cut-off for any of these courses, you’re eligible to apply. Remember, these cut-off marks aren’t just numbers. They represent the competitive strength of each course. For example, the higher cut-off for DVM (190) reflects its demand and limited slots.

Who Is Eligible for FUAZ Post-UTME 2025?

To be eligible for FUAZ Post-UTME screening:

  • You must have sat for the 2025 UTME and chosen FUAZ or are willing to apply through JAMB change of institution.

  • You must score at least the minimum cut-off mark listed for your preferred course.

  • You should have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in relevant O’Level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings.

  • Direct Entry admissions are NOT available for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Important tip: Make sure your O’Level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS. Many students lose their admission chances simply because they overlook this step.

How to Apply for FUAZ Post-UTME Screening 2025

The application process is 100% online and straightforward. Here’s how to register:

  1. Visit the FUAZ Post-UTME Portal:
    Go to https://portal.fuaz.edu.ng.

  2. Read the Admission Instructions Carefully:
Before you rush into filling the form, read through the instructions to avoid errors that could cost you the admission.

  3. Pay the Screening Fee:
A non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000 is required. You can pay using your ATM card or through any bank using the Remita payment system.

  4. Complete the Online Application Form:
Fill in your bio-data, UTME score, O’Level results, and other required information. Double-check every entry before submission.

  5. Print Acknowledgement Slip:
This serves as proof of application and may be needed during physical screenings or verification later.
