Application is invited to apply for the University of Sydney scholarship in Australia 2024. This is a fully funded Australia scholarship for international students in 2024 to undertake master’s and doctoral degrees.

An applicant with any nationality and academic background is eligible for a Study in Australia scholarship in 2024/2025.

A variety of academic disciplines are available under the University of Sydney scholarships in 2024.

The scholarship will cover student tuition fees and also award monthly stipends for living expenses.

Eligibility

Candidates must:

  1. be a commencing or enrolled international student.
  2. Have an outstanding record of academic achievement and research potential
  3. have an unconditional offer of admission or;
  4. be currently enrolled in a master’s by research or Ph.D. at the University of Sydney.

Benefits

The scholarship is valued at $35,629 per annum. The scholarship assists with tuition fees and living costs. Full tuition fees as set by the University of Sydney.

Holders of the Scholarship may not concurrently hold another scholarship that provides support for tuition fees.

Recipients of the Scholarship must enroll in their offered course and commence research at the University by the census date of their course intake. Request to defer the Scholarship may not be considered and the University reserves the right to withdraw the Scholarship offer if the recipient fails to gain an appropriate student visa or is unable to enroll and commence research at the University by the deadline.

How To Apply

Before applying as Higher Degree- Research (HDR) Students, you are expected to have the following documents/ requirements ready.

1. Student Identification Number (SID) issued by University of Sydney 

a. Enter your 9-digit SID correctly.

b. A submission with an invalid SID will not be assessed.

2. Academic/ Tertiary study Transcripts

In addition to pages with your name and marks, include a grading system information related to your qualification.

3. Research Experience (RE) – Optional

a. If you do not any research outputs to include, you don’t need to submit the RE form.
